Abstract
With continuous development, the proportion of low-production and low-efficiency wells in Y Oilfield increases year by year. Up to now, there have been more than 9,000 low-production and low-efficiency pumping wells in Y Oilfield, accounting for 24.77% of the total number of wells. The average pump efficiency of these wells was 33.29%, 14.97% points lower than the field-wide average, and the average system efficiency was 17.32%, 14.39% points lower than the field-wide average. Low pump efficiency in low-production wells leads to low system efficiency, which severely limits the quality and efficiency of oilfield development. This paper analyzes the causes of low production, low pump efficiency, and low system efficiency in these wells, and on the basis of which, carries out the research of the targeted treatment countermeasures. The experiments were carried out using single-cycle variable stroke speed to reduce the amount of pump leakage during the up stroke while increasing the fullness degree of the pump. The production time of the pumping unit is reduced by using the non-stop intermittent pumping production for beam pumping units so as to reduce the theoretical displacement of the pump. Stroke losses are reduced by using ultra-long stroke pump unit technology. Improve pumping efficiency of pumping wells through new technologies and new processes to achieve efficient lifting, energy-saving and consumption reduction. According to the application effect and adaptation range of different measures, the optimal treatment scheme is formulated, which provides a useful reference for the treatment of low-production and low-efficiency wells in the old oilfields.
